Benekli Kordon

"Benekli Kordon" (Özgün adı: "The Adventure of the Speckled Band") İskoç yazar Sir Arthur Conan Doyle tarafından yazılan 56 kısa Sherlock Holmes hikâyesinden biridir. Akıl Oyunlarının Gölgesinde kitabında sekizinci sırada yer alan hikâyenin, Türkçede biri Benekli Kordon adıyla 1993'te Metis Yayınları'ndan ve diğeri Benekli Şerit Macerası adıyla 2013'te Everest Yayınları'ndan olmak üzere iki farklı çevirisi yayınlandı. Sidney Paget'in görselleştirdiği hikâye ilk olarak Şubat 1892'de Strand Magazine'de yayımlandı. Ağustos 1905'te "The Spotted Band" ismiyle New York World'da yayımlandı. Doyle daha sonra bunun en iyi Holmes hikâyesi olduğunu düşündüğünü belirtmişti.
